1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS
I understand that participation in electric hydrofoil (eFoil) activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Falling into water
• Drowning or near-drowning
• Collisions with watercraft, objects, or other participants
• Cuts, lacerations, or impact injuries from the board or foil
• Equipment malfunction
• Changing weather or water conditions
I acknowledge that these risks may result in serious injury, permanent disability, or death.
2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I voluntarily choose to participate in eFoil activities and knowingly assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from negligence.
3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I hereby release, waive, and discharge Lakes Region Efoil, its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating.
4. INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lakes Region Efoil from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) resulting from my participation.
5. MEDICAL FITNESS
I certify that I am physically able to participate and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I understand it is my responsibility to consult a physician if unsure.
6. SAFETY RULES
I agree to:
• Follow all instructions given by instructors
• Wear required safety equipment (life jacket, helmet if required)
• Operate equipment responsibly and within my skill level
• Not operate under the influence of drugs or alcohol
7. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE (Optional)
I grant permission for Lakes Region Efoil to use photos or videos of me for marketing and promotional purposes.
